Mario Balotelli claims “it’s impossible” to win over the Italian people as he is “still angry” at Cesare Prandelli for his treatment at the last World Cup.
In the third part of his lengthy interview with Sky Sport Italia on Monday, Balotelli reflected on his Italy career, before failing to resist another dig at Milan.
“It’s impossible to win the hearts of the Italian people. I wouldn’t be able to, even if I won the World Cup and European Championship,” he said.
“I’m still angry at Prandelli for replacing me against Uruguay at the World Cup.
“I have no problem with those in charge of the dressing room. The team manager Oriali phoned me.
“I have no more dreams in football, only targets. The ranking of the teams where I felt good? Nice, Manchester City and... that’s it.”
