Neville's disastrous spell at the Mestalla reached an end in March this year, under two months after the seven-objective annihilation the Camp Nou in the Copa Del Rey.
"It's known not a threatening situation in which to oversee, yet I've never seen football fans as irate as that," said the 41-year-old previous Manchester United shield on the BBC's 'Class of 92' narrative.
"In England we think we have energetic fans - and we do - however I have never seen fans like that after a diversion."
The previous full-in those days took to twitter to clear up his remarks.
'Connection is everything. I said it's the angriest I've ever seen fans. It wasn't a consistent. It was a minute.' Neville went ahead to express that the fans 'had each privilege to be furious' after the match.
"This club has had 15 supervisors in 13 years," Neville proceeded on the narrative.
"The general population have energy and the fans are either here (focuses high) or route down here (focuses low)."
